DAY 1 - Arrival in Hanoi
Morning: Arrive in Hanoi (Noi Bai International Airport). Take a taxi or hotel shuttle to your hotel in the Old Quarter. Check-in and freshen up. Afternoon: Start exploring the Old Quarter. Walk around the charming narrow streets, bustling with local vendors. Visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple (a peaceful spot in the city center). Explore the St. Joseph’s Cathedral. Evening: Have dinner at a local restaurant, trying traditional dishes like Pho (noodle soup) or Bánh mì (Vietnamese sandwich). Optionally, enjoy a Water Puppet Show at the Thang Long Theatre for a unique cultural experience.
   
DAY 2 - Hanoi - Halong Bay
Morning: Take a day trip to Halong Bay (approximately 3.5 to 4 hours by car or bus from Hanoi). Arrive at the Halong Bay Harbor and board a cruise. Explore the majestic limestone karsts, islands, and caves. Afternoon: Lunch on the cruise, often served with fresh seafood. Explore Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave) or take a small boat to Ti Top Island for a panoramic view of the bay. Evening: Return to Hanoi by evening. Relax and have a casual dinner at one of the vibrant street food stalls.
   
DAY 3 - Hanoi to Hue
Morning: Explore Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Presidential Palace for a glimpse into Vietnam's history. Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, for a tranquil morning. Afternoon: Catch a flight or train to Hue (approximately 1.5-hour flight or 12-hour overnight train from Hanoi). Evening: Check into your hotel in Hue. Have dinner at a riverside restaurant, sampling Bún bò Huế (Hue-style beef noodle soup).
   
DAY 4 - Hue Exploration
Morning: Visit the Imperial City (The Citadel), a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the Royal Tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty (such as Tomb of Khai Dinh and Tomb of Minh Mang). Afternoon: Take a boat cruise on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Visit Dong Ba Market to shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs. Evening: Explore Hue's street food scene or relax by the river with a cocktail.
   
DAY 5 - Hue to Hoi An
Morning: Travel from Hue to Hoi An (approximately 3-4 hours by car or bus). Check into your hotel in Hoi An. Afternoon: Visit the Ancient Town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its well-preserved architecture and blend of different cultures. Walk through the Japanese Bridge, and check out the Chinese temples and old merchant houses. Enjoy the vibrant Hoi An Market. Evening: Take a stroll along the Thu Bon River, and if you’re there during the full moon, enjoy the Hoi An Lantern Festival. Dinner at one of the town's riverside restaurants. Try Cao lau (Hoi An noodle dish).
   
DAY 6 - Hoi An - Departure
Morning: Spend the morning relaxing at the beach (such as An Bang Beach) or exploring more of Hoi An’s picturesque streets. Optionally, you can take a quick bicycle tour to the countryside, visiting Tra Que Herb Village or Cam Thanh Village. Afternoon: Take a flight from Da Nang (near Hoi An) to your departure city (either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City). Depending on your flight time, you may have time for a quick exploration or souvenir shopping at Da Nang’s Han Market.
